Software Training

Our software training solutions are based on your needs. Why should you take valuable time away from your business to sit through a day or two seminar, learning things you do not really need to know? We custom tailor your training sessions to what you want and need to learn. You learn hands-on, using equipment and systems you are already familiar with, dealing with issues you already face day-in and day-out.

Training sessions are a minimum of one hour, giving you time to focus in on specific target areas. People can only assimilate and process so much new information at one time. That's why we never schedule training sessions for longer than 4 hours in a single day. It avoids information overload and trainee fatigue which ultimately lead to frustration with the learning process.

We come to your office on your schedule, at your convenience. And we allow up to 5 individuals per training session at no additional cost (equipment and space permitting). This eliminates commuting and saves you valuable time that you can be devoting to your business. It also allows you to immediately handle critical issues that may develop during the session. While we suggest that interruptions be kept to a minimum, we also understand that running your business is your number one priority.

Business Licenses

Business Licensing varies by location of your business. We primarily focus on Seminole County, although we are happy to research licensing requirements in other areas of Florida as well. Several municipalities in Seminole County have separate licensing requirements in addition to the county requirements. Some of these cities include: Sanford, Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs and Longwood, just to name a few.

City Business Licenses, formerly Occupational Licenses, are now referred to as Business Tax Receipts. These are annual licenses that expire on September 30 each year. City and county licenses expire at the same time. For businesses that begin operations mid-year, the licensing fees are pro-rated.

There are various forms to complete, and businesses within the city limits of these municipalities are required to have both city and county licenses. To save time and avoid frustration, obtain your city business tax receipt before you go the county office.

State Reigstrations

In the State of Florida, businesses are required to collect or remit a variety of state-mandated taxes or fees. These include state unemploment taxes, state and local sales and use tax and/or solid waste surcharge, corporate income taxes and more. We can help you determine which taxes your company is subject to, and assist with the preparation of registration and reporting forms.

The Florida Department of Revenue has many online options. A business owner can set up a corporation online as well as registering for, reporting and remitting taxes and other fees. In addition to the ease of filing and paying online, some businesses are required to transmit their data and payments electronically.

We can teach your staff how to initiate and complete these online procedures, or our staff can be contracted on a monthly or quarterly basis to file the internet reports for you, with payments to the state deducted directly from your company bank account electronically.

Federal Registrations

The Federal government is also keeping up with the information age by making a wide variety of services, forms and publications available online. Some forms can be submitted electronically, while others can be downloaded, filled in by computer entry and printed for filing by mail or fax. Registration in the Electronic Funds Tax Payment System (EFTPS) can also be accomplished online.

Many publications, including the annual Pub. 15 (Circular E) with updated payroll tax depositing and filing requirements can be downloaded and saved as a PDF file, to be accessed by your staff whenever needed. Start-up businesses can obtain their Federal Employer Identification Number(FEIN) by completing an online form. This makes starting up a new business much faster than in the past, since banks and other businesses (including state governments) all want your FEIN. Many forms related to the tax structure of your company, including the Election by a Small Business Corporation (Form 2553) can be obtained online. Our staff is ready to assist you in finding, completing and filing the appropriate forms needed by your business.
